So I tried to come up with a comprehensive story to tell you all about my new adventures during my stay here in Florida. Some even wondered if there was actually nothing to tell, because it was so silent on the blagoweb. Those who read my other posts know I always try to write up a complete story, but not today. It’s just a couple of pictures and a description, because who has the time?

Let’s start with the appartement. We moved in a while ago to the second floor at a very nice place. It has a small balcony and there is a recently renovated pool at the community center. Pools are not uncommon here, since the summer can be pretty brutal. At least that’s what everyone keeps warning us about.

There are a lot of local breweries here so there is much to choose from, especially when it comes to IPA’s. This one is Hop Gun from the Funky Buddha Brewery.
Oh, and we bought a bike rack, because you usually need to drive a bit to get to a trail. There must be some correlation between these two pictures I guess.

The first weekend of April is Springtime Tallahassee, a local festival with all sorts of events. We watched The Grand Parade which had some remarkable wagons from where they bombarded us with beads and candy.

We are good friends with a colleague and his family. He and his wife grew up in a co-op and they showed us around last Saturday. It’s truly a beautiful area and being accustomed to the dense, crowded cities back home this place felt like a little paradise.
